MUMBAI:  Harshdeep Kaur has made her mark in Bollywood with her popular Sufi songs. In a candid conversation with Radioandmusic.com, the ‘Ik Onkar’ singer said, “I have sung a song called 'Mere Mahi' for the upcoming film Irada which is a solo number and a beautiful song. The music is composed by singer-songwriter Neeraj Shridhar who is all set to stage a revisit as a music director. The song is a contemporary song; though it has some evident classical touches which make the song more interesting. I have also recorded a song which is a duet number for the upcoming movie Sultan which will be releasing this Eid.”

“I have recently released a Punjabi single Maye Ni Maye which is very close to my heart. I recorded this on the GarageBand app on my phone. And then we shot the video on my iPhone 6s in 4K video mode. I want to do more film songs in near future,” says Kaur while talking about her upcoming projects.  The singer is in upbeat mode - she will soon be performing for the first time in Radio Mirchi's Roohani Festival to be held this June.
