MUMBAI: Aditi Singh Sharma is a Delhi-born singer who made her playback singing debut in Anurag Kashyap's 'Dev D' and since, there has been no looking back for this singer. In fact, her recent song ‘Oye Oye’ from ‘Azhar’ reached 6 million views on YouTube. However, this journey has not been an easy for Aditi who has been trying to juggle between work and her mother's ailment.

The 'Sooraj Dooba Hai' singers mother has been suffering with cancer for a while now. "I have been wanting to be around my mother, but my schedule does not permit that mostly. One has to travel for shows, but I wish to be around her for cancer is a very critical disease. I just hope she recovers soon," said Aditi who will be spending her upcoming birthday with her mother.

Talking about her music the singer avered, “It feels great when you get to know that your song is being loved by the audience. Starting from 'Dev D'. It’s been quite some time in this industry and I feel blessed. I have had an oppurtunity to work with all the leading music composers and I have consistently worked hard. Though, I never planned anything, it just happened,” said the ‘Raabta’ singer.
