MUMBAI: Rapper Ice Cube has admitted that he is a "firm but fair" father to his five children.
Ice Cube -- who has three sons, O'Shea Jackson Jr., 25, Darrel and Shareef, both 20, and two daughters, Karima, 22 and Deja with his wife Kimberly Woodruff -- has a lot of "respect" for his children, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"I'm firm but fair. I respect my kids and I think a lot of people need to take that approach. It's not a dictatorship at all times," he told Total Film magazine.
"You have got to realise your kids are their own individual human beings. Just because they are little, it doesn't mean they don't have the same feelings as adults do. A wise person told me: 'Be good to your kids because you are going to be old one day and you will want them to be good to you. So keep that in mind'," he added.
