It's said that controversy is a part of the nature of art and creativity. Some just get a whiff of it while the others get it in abundance; Singh seems to fall in the latter category. Today as he turns 39 we zoom into some of his highly publicised controversial moments.
In 2006, Singh kissed Bollywood's item girl Rakhi Sawant at his birthday party amidst shutterbugs. This later resulted into Sawant filling a molestation lawsuit against the singer.

In April 2015 Mika slapped a doctor during a concert in South Delhi. Consequently, an F.I.R was lodged against him.
The singer was also into a legal battle with singer Sonu Nigam. As per the reports in media Singh used Nigam's pictures for a promotional campaign without his consent. This lead to Nigam filing a defamation case against him. The case was later rest in Nigam's favour.

In 2015 Mika posted a picture of him with a lipstick mark on his face and claimed it to be Bipasha Basu's. This did grab some eyeballs from the film industry. However, Basu went on to use the account to clear the air. Later Mika too stated that it was lipstick mark of Dadi from Colors' Comedy Night's With Kapil'.
The Gurgaon district administration has sealed Singh’s farmhouse ‘King’s Jungle’ for the National Green Tribunal raised objection to running of commercial activities in this village, of which about 75 per cent land had been classified as forest area.
