MUMBAI: Singer Mel B believes her relationship with her husband Stephen Belafonte works because he is "funny" and "gorgeous".

The Spice Girls singer has been married to the film producer for nine years now. She says their home life is good because she is still besotted with him.

“We just get on. He's a funny person. I like him, which is important. We're just really good friends and I think he's gorgeous and a nice person. And I fancy him, which helps,” Mel B told dailymail.co.uk.

She also thinks her honesty has helped her marriage to Belafonte and has been an important factor in her success on the stage and small screen, especially for her talent show jobs.

The ‘America's Got Talent’ judge said: "I'm a very honest person - but over the years I've learnt to be a bit more tactful."
