MUMBAI: Fame and controversy walk hand-in-hand, but for Bollywood playback singer Mika Singh, the list of controversies never seems to end.

Just a month ago the '440 Volt' singer was in the news for being asked to leave the Colors' comedy show 'Comedy Nights Live' for having attended Kapil Sharma's show on rival channel Sony Entertainment. Around this time, it looked like Mika was changing and he wanted to raise his voice against the injustice. But, the changing winds seem to have taken a different course for Mika yet again.

The singer was booked under IPC 354 and 504 by Mumbai's Versova police station on Tuesday for allegedly molesting a fashion designer. If the reports circulating in the industry are to be believed, this designer was a known person to Mika. The two had been in touch for five years during which the 'Gandi Baat' singer assured her help in getting film offers. However, when the singing sensation did not live up to his promise, the designer confronted him. This led to a heated argument between the two and probably Mika losing his temper.

The Versova Police Station spokesperson confirmed the incident while speaking to Radioandmusic.com, adding, "The case has been filed and the two had been in several arguments before too. More details cannot be shared right now due to the sensitivity of the issue."

The temper issue does not come as a surprise, for Mika is reported to have slapped a doctor at his Delhi event last year for dancing around women. The men and women were dancing separately at the above-mentioned event. Read more -

As far as misbehaving with women is concerned. Mika has kissed well-know Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant against her will. The incident took place in 2006 at Mika Singh's birthday party. Where the 'Mauja Hi Mauja' singer went on to kiss Rakhi to everyone's astonishment. Rakhi later went on to lodge a complaint against him.

Following the complaint, Mika Singh released a statement which claimed that the girl had demanded money from him, and he had evidence of it. He also said he had informed police of this.

"Today (Tuesday) morning at around 5 a.m. one girl barged into my premises by entering through window and started abusing me and assaulting me and my staff and started threatening if I don't pay her Rs 5 crore, she will ruin my career and register a false case against me. I have already informed Versova police in writing regarding the threats and extortion," he said in the statement.

"I don't know who this girl is. I have all the evidence against this girl of she demanding money from me and I have informed the police about this incident. Police is investigating the matter and truth will be out soon," he added.
