MUMBAI:Actors have been trying their luck at singing for a while now and the next to join this bandwagon is Rajeev Khandelwal.The Bollywood hottie is all set to croon a number for his upcoming film 'Fever'.
Rajeev will be singing the promotional track 'Teri Yaad', which features
Gauahar Khan,
Casino Royale actress Caterina Murino and Gemma Atkinson. The British beauty was once dating Cristiano Ronaldo and now is a renowned film and TV personality.
“I am not even close to being calle
d a singer but I love singing. Actually who doesn't, he adds with a smile? My director, Rajeev Jhaveri, and music director, Rahul, suggested that I sing this one and I agreed to give it a shot. As it is, it is meant for the promotion of the film. ” said Rajeev as he further added, "It's a difficult song since it doesn't have one rhythm, so it will be a challenge.I have been rehearsing with Rahul who will also be singing the song with me.”
Rajeev was always inclined to singing. In fact, during his college days he tried his hand in several singing events but could never be the best, the actor confessed. At home, he sings for his wife and confides that Manjiri is not a big fan of his singing. “I sang Arijit Singh's 'Tum Hi Ho' from 'Aashiqui 2' for her for the longest time and she still isn't impressed,” he laughs.
He further added that he likes Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor's voices and Aamir Khan's 'Aati Kya Khandala' from 'Ghulam'. “Among the male singers I am a huge fan of the versatile Kishore Kumar, Sonu Nigam and Arijit,” ended he.
