Post phenomenal cover versions, Sanam- the band releases an original

MUMBAI: Boy bands were talk of the town at one point of time, but soon they began to disappear from the music scene. During this time Sanam, the band made it to the musical circuit. The four members became an instant hit for their covers of Hindi songs, predominantly of old variety.

Since then there has been no looking back for these rockstars. In fact, their new original 'Agar Tum Suno' which was supposedly composed nine years back by Sanam and Samar Puri is earning massive views on YouTube.

The band launched the song through Facebook Live. During their live session they shared titbits about the history of the song with their fans.

Sanam Puri, the lead singer of the band said, "We composed this song nine years ago. It is a very special song. Things back then were completely different. We used to record on bendable computer mike, vocals and guitar with one software. That is when we had created this song but, we sent it to our bassist Venky the same track recently. Venky felt we should do something around it, and that is how the song was created. "

Venky on the other hand said, "It's been a while since we did a rock song. Rock music is really dear to my heart. I remember, three of us (Sanam, Samar and Venky) used to jam rock songs. 'Agar Tum Suno' is close to our heart."
