MUMBAI: It's always wonderful to hear different generations of a musical family sing together.But, this feeling meets an all time high when the Bhosles or the Mangeshkars croon together. Adding to our anxiety and excitement this time are veteran Bollywood singer Asha Bhosle and her garnaddaughter Zanai Bhosle. The two recently recorded an Independence Day song.

The legendary singer even went on to tweet about the same.

Zanai, who recently bagged MTV Rising Star award at GIMA 2016 for ?'?Hil Pori Hila'?, dedicated the award to her grandmother. She sang the song 'Hil' Pori Hila' for India's first transgender band '6 Pack Band'.

This is not the first time Zanai is going to sing with Asha Bhosle. She has featured along with Asha Bhosle in a devotional song for Ganesh Chaturthi 'Bappa Moraya'.
