MUMBAI: Yesterday there were reports about ace music composer Anu Malik replacing cricketer Harbhajan Singh as a judge on Like OK's comedy show 'Mazzak Mazzak Mein', but it turns out that it's not true.
Malik is definitely getting onto the show as a judge, but only for two episodes. "Since, Bhajji is in London at the moment, Ekta (Kapoor) and her team at Balaji Telefilms approached me to be a part of two episodes. I agreed because I know Ekta very well and Bhajji is a good friend," said the composer to Radioandmusic.com.
Singh who got married to long-time girlfriend and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra in October last year is a father to a beautiful baby girl now. Basra delivered the baby in UK on 28 July 2016. Thus, Singh flew to the United Kingdoms to spend some quality time with his wife and daughter. He was expected to return before the next shoot, but has extended his stay leaving no option for the production, but to find a replacement.
Although every episode of the show features Singh with another ace cricketer, Shoaib Akhtar, the upcoming episodes will feature Malik. "I enjoyed shooting for both the episodes. Judging a comedy show is very different from all the others. One has to pay attention to the details and I must admit that this show has some terrific performers," stated the 'Humein Jab Se Mohabbat' crooner.
Furthermore, the huge success of 'Moha Moha Ke Dhaage' has many projects pouring in his kitty. "I had been waiting for the needle of the clock to point towards me for a while now and it has finally happened with 'Moha Moh Ke Dhaage' winning three national awards," exclaimed the superhit composer.
Malik will be seen on the comedy show this weekend.
