MUMBAI: The music of the new Bollywood flick 'Baar Baar Dekho' is all the rage and topic of B-town.

The six-track album also has Pakistan-based singer-composer Bilal Saeed’s ‘Teri Khair Mangdi’ from his 2012 album ‘Twelve’ released by Speed Records. In the new version, he has separated the rap element and recreated it as a new song for the film.

Recently, we got to hear a new version of ‘Teri Khair Mangdi’ by Gtown Desi. As the movie was shot in Glasgow, the hometown of Gtown Desi, Glasgow DJs and music producers added their own signature to the soulful touching song ‘Teri Khair Mangdi’.

What we like about this version is it has heavy bass and synth sound at the beginning. As the song moves on, the background music and the additional beats make it groovy. The whole song is recreated with several electronic sounds which make it different from the movie score; however, in the end, the voice distortion was not needed, we feel.

The song is presented as a heart-rending number in the movie featuring Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra. ‘Teri Khair Mangdi’ is composed and sung by Bilal Saeed, the new lyrics are penned by Kumaar. ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ releases in cinemas on 9 September 2016.
