MUMBAI: Sony Music Entertainment acquires the music rights of director Gauri Shinde's next film 'Dear Zindagi'.

'Dear Zindagi' happens to be Shinde's second film. Her first was 'English Vinglish' that received outstanding reviews. The music of the same is being composed by Amit Trivedi. This also happens to be Trivedi’s subsequent film after 'Udta Punjab' to release in 2016.

Furthermore, the film promises to have music that will connect with all. Something that Shinde's first film too managed to do.

Produced by Gauri Khan, Karan Johar and R Balki under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions, and Hope Productions respectively, the film stars Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar and Angad Bedi.
