MUMBAI: Nucleya's love for the music from the south is not a secret anymore. The Delhi-based producer utilised several components from the region during his early works, and as electronic music critics and listeners revered every bit of it, the sound – in a way and more – helped created the musician his identity.
For his sixth track from the latest album ‘Raja Baja’, Udhyan Sagar a.k.a Nucleya revisits his first love, the ‘tamil fever’, through the track titled ‘Bakar Bakar’. The 3:44 minute long song comprises all the essential elements that represent the general idea of music in the south, and the bass DJ has, as expected, ‘Nucleya-fied’ it. The musician showed the intent to move away from generic familiar hooks into his music with ‘Lights’, the fifth track off the album, and ‘Bakar Bakar’ extends that effort.

Emphasising on the south Indian elements, twenty-five seconds into the track, the musician introduces ‘nadaswaram’ tune that appears throughout the song in an extremely slick manner. Single after single, Nucleya has unleashed his latest album through Saavn, and the approach surely seems to be working considering all the traction the respective singles have enjoyed.
