Mumbai: Sharvi Yadav who was recently announced as the winner of the English singing talent hunt show "The Stage 2", hopes to work with musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
After winning the second season of the Colors Infinity show, which was judged by musicians Vishal Dadlani, Monica Dogra, Ehsaan Noorani and Universal Music India head Devraj Sanyal, Sharvi has been busy with a lot of gigs.
She was also mentioned in the November issue of the music-based magazine Rolling Stone as one of the top 10 budding women artistes you should listen to in India.
"While I am currently busy with my ongoing gigs and would be touring a lot in the coming months, I really hope that I, someday, get to work with the legendary AR. Rahman, Vishal and Shekhar duo, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy," Sharvi said in a statement.
"After my win, I have done a few gigs in Delhi and to my surprise received a huge response, all the credit owing to The Stage. My friends and family came. New and old friends, friends that I had never met. They heard me on the show and they really wanted to hear me live, it was overwhelming, “she added.
Sharvi is currently working with songwriter Mikey McCleary on a jingle and will be performing at The Gig Week Delhi in December.
