MUMBAI: Demonetisation sparks creativity too. Shann, leading playback singer will be releasing a song on demonetisation in a little while.

The vocalist confirmed to Radioandmusic.com that he has composed the song as well. The song is actually a poem penned by Prasoon Joshi. “Yeh video black money se nahi bana hai (No black money has been used in this making of this video),” he quips.

Shaan shared, “The song is called ‘Ek Saccha Kadam’, composed and sung by me. It is a very motivational piece and Prasoon did this for the Dainik Jagran group. I strongly feel this demonetisation is indeed a huge step by Narendra Modi Ji and I am inspired by the whole agenda.”

He put up the teaser in his twitter account today 1 December 2016, However, Radioandmusic.com contacted him and he elatedly shared the original video with us.

“As we have limited keys to access to the piano keys when composing, we have limited access to funds too. But we are trying our best with the constraints and that’s life," added the honey-laced voice holder.”
