MUMBAI: Divine also known as Vivian Fernandes, who created his rapper ride from growing up in the slums of Mumbai, is all set to debut in Kolkata for a show.

He will be performing at Roxy, The Park Hotel, Kolkata today 10 December 2016. We hope Devine will nail the Kolkata fans with his powerful hip-hop acts.

The local boy from the streets of Mumbai has become a poster boy now. Divine’s 2015 smash hit 'Mere Gully Mein' under Sony Music recently reached one million views on YouTube on 17 November 2016. Also, he recently released a track called #DaruDaru in collaboration with Deep Jandu and Gangis Khan. The song is sung by rapper Divine and the Canada based Gangis Khan, and produced by Canada-based Punjabi music producer Deep Jandu.

iTunes and Apple Music in India awarded Divine as ‘Best New Artist 2015’. Also, he was listed as one of the top six artists to watch-out for in 2016 by the BBC Asian Network.

In addition, he recently performed at Bacardi NH7 Weeknder’s Pune edition on the third day, 4 December 2016.

Commenting on the performance Divine said, "I'm very excited to perform for the first time in Kolkata and check out the Hip Hop scene in this city. Looking forward to try the puchkaas as well."
