MUMBAI: Virat Kohli's knock of 235 at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on Sunday got unexpected plaudits from legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar on Monday morning.

The weekend was a good one for the country, with India going on to win the fourth test match by an innings and 36 runs against England today 12 December 2016.

After this victory, a delighted Lata dedicated the song ‘Aakash Ke Us Paar Bhi’ to Kohli and shared on her Twitter account today 12 December 2016.

The song is taken from the album 'Mere Watan Ke Logo’ by Lata Mangeshkar. The album was released on 27 January 1963 on Saregama (then HMV).
