MUMBAI: Not many know that legendary singer Asha Bhosle is also a successful restaurateur having 20 per cent stake in Asha's. In fact, her Dubai-WAFI restaurant won Restaurant of the Year (India) Middle East Hospitality Excellence Awards 2016 on 12 December 2016. The award was sponsored by Radio Mirchi and the legendary singer expressed her joy through her twitter account.

The singer tweeted - Extremely pleased to announce that Asha's has won the Best Indian Restaurant Award at the Middle East Hospitality Excellence Awards 2016. (sic)

This is not the first time that Asha’s has bagged an award. It has been leading the Middle East hospitality space for a while with awards like - Awards WAFI, Dubai 2016 Experts' Choice Award, Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence 2016, Time Out Restaurant Awards 2012 – Best Indian, Ahlan Awards Best in Dubai 2008 – Runner Up.

Asha’s has its chain in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Birmingham, Manchester, Kuwait, and Qatar.
