MUMBAI: Stomp the British percussion group that is currently here showcasing their talent was seen attending one-of-a-kind percussion event in the city.
The percussion group attended the first ever female Indian percussion artiste event ‘Women of Rhythm’ at YB Chavan Auditorium, Nariman Point on Thursday.
Three members of the Stomp group were at the venue watching the show with amazement. However, they left a little before the show came to an end. But, it was definitely a boost for some of the first Indian percussionist to get a round of applause from these international percussionists.
Emars Events and Gladpeople Music Management organised this special evening. The percussionist that performed at this event were Anuradha Pal on tabla, Dandamudi Summathi Rammohan Rao on mridamgam, Sukkanya Ramgopal on ghatam, Chitrangana Agle Reshwal on pakhawaj, Rimpa Siva on tabla and Shiksha Bali on drums.
Stomp use their body and ordinary objects to create sound.
