MUMBAI: For the first time, rapper Badshah will be seen showcasing his acting skills in the upcoming episodes of popular show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'.

Badshah will play some of his foot-tapping numbers like 'Abhi toh party shuru hui hai' and 'DJ waale babu' at the 'sangeet' ceremony of onscreen couple Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan.

"I am very scared of acting, but the entire cast and crew was so friendly and they made it so easy and so much fun. This is my first time acting on a TV show and it was a really nice experience. They made me feel really comfortable and I really wish to come back on this show again," Badshah said in a statement.

Shivangi, who plays the role of Naira in the Star Plus show, said: "It was an extremely memorable evening for my on screen Sangeet. It couldn't have been bigger and better than having Badshah himself grace the occasion. We couldn't have asked for more to make it an even more special occasion."
