MUMBAI: Bollywood’s sensational singer-composer and part of the duo Vishal- Shekhar, Vishal Dadlani filed for divorce from his Delhi-based wife Priyali Khanna. The couple had tied a knot a few years ago but have been living separately for a long time now.

Vishal has been very private about his personal life and has generally never commented on it. However, in a leading entertainment portal, the ‘Om Shanti Om' best sound award winner said, “After several years of living separately, Priyali and I are officially filing for divorce. This is the only statement either of us wishes to make, as this is a private and personal matter, and we hope it will be respected as such. Over our time apart, we have become perhaps greater friends than we have ever been before.”

In such situations, families play an important role. The two families of the couple have been close to each other and will continue be close, despite the couple’s decision.
