MUMBAI: One of the finest gems of Bollywood industry, playback singer Sonu Nigam was recently a part of Bollywood controversy. The playback singer along with Shreya Ghoshal had lent his voice to blockbuster SRK film ‘Raees’, but the song did not make the final cut.

In a press conference of ‘Raees’, Shah Rukh Khan revealed the reason for not having Sonu and Shreya’s song in the movie. He said that the song had to be deleted as they had exceeded the length of the movie.

Since the song was pulled out at the end moment, Sonu’s fans were unhappy with the decision and this could be seen all over social media.

Sonu being his calm self, went on to cajole his fans with this tweet –

Guys, please chill. D song that I sang for #Raees , was not fitting in the film. It's a creative decision. & I respect it. Love you all.

Zee Music Company finally released the song on 5 February.

When contacted Sonu stated, “The song is released on public demand.” Interestingly the song has already received million plus views. It seems Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal fan’s had been eagerly waiting for the song.
