MUMBAI: Divine releases a new single ‘Farak’ today 17 February 2017 on Sony Music that talks about his imaginative life adventures over the years while highlighting his pillar of strength, his mother. The lyrics are the hero of the song and stand out at all levels.
Divine, who still thinks rap is alien in our country, is creating a buzz with his rapping skills for quite some time now. Divine is also working on his debut album and this song will be a part of his debut album.
The song is sung, composed and penned by Divine, while the co-composer and music producer is Phenom, mixed and mastered by Andrew Wuepper and Brian Lucey (Magic Garden Mastering).
Commenting on the same, Divine said, “This is something from my heart and I hope you like it. It’s been shot by JD (Joel D’souza) and me in Goa, my gullies, through my LIVE shows and features friends, brothers and artists that have been part of my journey. I dedicate this to my mother.”
Adding on Sony Music Pop Lead, Rohan Jha said, “Divine is one of the few artists whose videos have been both narratively powerful as well as technically brilliant. In addition, Divine recently collaborated with Apple Music, that has lent its global presence to several artists from various countries, 2017 marks the first time the company will be tapping extensively into the pool of Indian independent talent for a nationwide India campaign.
