MUMBAI: Nakash Aziz who has crooned some of the biggest Bollywood hits recently tried his hands at recreating an iconic number. Wondering which track this is? Well, Aziz chose to recreate the famous RD Burman track originally sung by Kishore Kumar, 'Jahan Teri Yeh Nazar Hai' from ‘Kaalia’.
The songs original location was a five-star hotel, where both Amjad Khan and superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan compete to steal the expensive jewel, but Aziz managed to make it very local. The singer who features in the video is seen singing the track in an auto rickshaw. Aziz is seen in his best elements while singing the iconic song on the streets of Mumbai.
A source close to Aziz says that the song is right up his alley, "Nakash has some really peppy numbers to his credit like 'Selfie', 'Jabra Fan’, 'Saree Ke Fall Sa' among others and 'Jahan Teri Yeh Nazar Hai' too is high on energy. The video is looking great and people will definitely love it."
This is another feather in Nakash's cap after making a mark in Bollywood and South film industry. Down south Nakash recently sang 'Tuaba Tuaba', 'Blockbuster' and 'Rathaalu', all of which were chartbusters.
The original track composed by RD Burman has been arranged, programmed and recreated by Kshitij Tarey and is released by Times Music.
