MUMBAI: The Radio Mirchi studio lit up when the gorgeous Anushka Sharma and arguably the next big thing in Bollywood, Diljit Dosanjh, appeared to promote their upcoming movie ‘Phillauri’. Ever since the movie poster released -- on 17 February of this year – it has been creating a lot of noise. Diljit who has been often found in the Mirchi studio, given his musical connect, teamed up with co-star Anushka this time to share a little chat about their upcoming release.

The movie is a romantic comedy directed by Anshai Lal. The story revolves around a simpleton (Suraj Sharma) who meets a bubbly Anushka after reluctantly being married off to a tree to ward off any threats to his love life. The music in the movie gives out a very bucolic vibe which aptly fits the simple tone of the story. No wonder ‘Dum Dum’ bagged over a million views within hours of its release.

Music director Sashwat Sachdev has also collaborated with international producers like Tony Maserati and Mark Shaiman earlier on in his career. The versatility of this man is well portrayed through the music in the film. So all you love sick homies out there check out ‘Sahiba’. It might just be your jam.

The movie has created just the right amount of buzz required to get people to block their weekends. Produced by Anushka Sharma herself, the movie is all set to release on 24 March 2017. The trailer looks too good to ignore the film.
