MUMBAI: T-Series led by Bhushan Kumar has now taken a landmark step into Marathi film industry by signing 10 films music deal with Mahesh Manjrekar. T-Series' who was just conferred as the No.1 YouTube channel worldwide will now be the backbone in promoting the music of Manjrekar's films out of which the actor – director – producer has directed seven films himself. Mahesh Manjrekar and Bhushan Kumar who have worked together before in Hindi film industry have done one of its kind deal by signing 10 films together.

The films signed under the deal are, ‘Dhyani Mani’, ‘Nation First’, ‘Wada’, ‘Take Care Good Night’, ‘Shikari’, ‘Shivaji Park Mumbai 28’, ‘I Am Shivaji Raje’, ‘Friendship Unlimited (FU)’, ‘Kore Goan Park’ and ‘White’.

Talking about the collaboration Bhushan Kumar said, “This is a landmark deal for us at T-Series and I am glad to be doing this with Mahesh Manjrekar. We have known each other for years and now Mahesh and I have also started working on possible joint productions as I am keen on venturing out in Marathi film production as well. I just hope the slow and steady but a successful growth that we have seen in Hindi, Punjabi and Bhojpuri films now extends to Marathi films."

Bhushan Kumar plans to invest 15-20cr for production, music acquisitions and promotions in Marathi film industry.
