MUMBAI: Big FM's first ever on-air radio film award 'Hit Thhe Hit Rahenge Awards' show that aims at commemorating the golden era of Indian cinema by acknowledging the evergreen films and iconic stars of the time awarded the evergreen star Lata Mangeshkar.

The nightingale of Bollywood was graced with two awards from the Big FM team. She received the award for singing the most popular song of this era- ‘Lag Ja Gale’ and also for being the best female playback singer.

The singer was prompt in posting a few pictures of her receiving the awards from the Big FM crew. She humbly thanked the radio channel for bestowing this title on her. She later on uploaded a very old video of her singing the classic ‘Lag Ja Gale’ as a way of showing her gratitude towards her loyal fans.
