MUMBAI: Yet another singing reality show will be added to our existing list of reality shows. This one is being produced by one the pioneers of reality business Saaibaba Telefilms.

The show named ‘Suro Ka Eklavya’ will be aired on Doordarshan (DD). The excepted panellist are Bappi Lehri, Palak Muchhal and Ismail Darbar.

The show will have three Gharanas, namely Lata Mangeshkar Gharana, Kishore Kumar Gharana and Mohammad Rafi Gharana. The show is in search of participants who are fans of the above mentioned legends and understand their Gharanas well.

“The idea behind a unique music reality show is that we want the audience to see DD in a different perspective now. Also, it is an initiative to re-brand DD,” said a source from Saaibaba Telefilms.

The auditions for the show has begun and participants across the country are being invited to be a part of it.

In most probability the show will be launch in the last week of June.
