MUMBAI: We have had him in our earlier articles. We have talked about his competency as a producer and well here he is with his EP ‘Freedom’. Darshan Lodaya a.k.a Bluesanova is a producer/musician and has compelling tracks like ‘Woh Roke Hum Ruke Na’ to his name.
Darshan’s influences have ranged from Jazz to pop to the recent EDM frenzy. His love for fusing genres reflects heavily on his new EP with tracks like ‘Fingers to The Sky’ which features the outstanding Matt Bacon who is also a faculty member at KM music conservatory.
The tracks are all electric in nature but the vibes range from eastern classical to Karnatic to even a nice ballad like feel.
Darshan has collaborated with three different artistes on the tracks and all three of them come from very different musical background giving the EP the interesting sound it has.
“I don’t have genres per se in mind when I make a track. I usually follow the flow of the song and the output is how it is,” explained the artiste.
A very competent Sagar Bohara aka Crazy Vibe, a young producer from Mumbai mastered the EP and the final product is phenomenal.
“All of this wouldn’t have been possible without Sagar and Re’uel Ferriera,” said Darshan.
