MUMBAI: When we talk about one of the most exciting parties in Goa's trendiest nightlife, we can’t afford to let pass Satellite Beachside Festival. To the known or unknown, Satellite Beachside Festival was set off by none other than Nikhil Chinapa and his significant other Pearl in the monsoon in Goa last year at Waters Lounge and Grill in Vagator, Goa. The revolutionary festival will return to Goa with its fourth edition for the Independence Day long weekend at Waters.
The ideology behind Satellite Beachside festival was to bring together peers and techno-hippies from the underground dance music community. Mark your calendars from 12-14 August 2017 to witness a no-nonsense sublime progressive driving heaven along with some of the finest producers and DJs from around India.
After that first edition in August 2016 when more than 600 people came for the music, they knew they would be doing Satellite again. "Pearl has for the longest time wanted to set up an alternative music festival, and has been talking about it for the last four years," Nikhil said in a statement to Business World previously.
In the past three editions, it has showcased an impressive line-up of Indian talent and top names from Anjunadeep, a premier deep-house music label, along with Indian producers and DJs like Arjun Vagale, Tuhin Mehta, BLOT, Ash Roy, Nawed Khan, Sanjay Dutta, Praveen Achary, Murthovic, Pearl and Nikhil among others. What we believe is it is definitely a raving idea, for another time for a long weekend of fantastic, ‘technicolor’ fun!
However, organised by Submerge, this edition's line-up and details about tickets will be out soon. Stay tuned!
