MUMBAI: Multi faceted personality and Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra who debuted as a singer with In My City, went on to give her voice to some spectacular singles soon after. The songs included Exotic featuring rapper Pit Bull, I Can’t Make You Love Me and Erase (2012) with The Chainsmoker. She also sang a Bollywood track in Dil Dhadakne Do. Given her discography, one would expect more songs from this International star, but Chopra has other plans for now.

In a recent press conference held in the city, the star announced that she has taken a break from music deliberately.

When asked about her future project in music she said, “It is deliberate. For now, I am busy with production and acting. It will take a year or more to come up with new songs."

She last sang Baba for Marathi movie Ventilator, produced under her own banner Purple Pebble Pictures.

Furthermore, the Barfi stars recently released her Marathi production Kay Re Rascala.
