MUMBAI: The 14th episode of T-Series’ Mixtape is out and it’s an apt mix for a wedding function. This mix of Ambarsariya and Suit Suit are sung in the most beautiful way by Kanika Kapoor and Guru Randhawa.

Remember the famous tune at the beginning of Sasural Genda Phool song from the film Delhi 6? Well, the same tune starts and ends this mix. Kapoor opens the stage with her dynamic voice and Randhawa takes it to the next level.

These singers’ desi voices are the perfect pick for an exemplary Shaadi-song. Composed by Abhijit Vaghani, the mix features a beautiful combination of Punjabi instruments like dhol and guitar played like tumbi with a pinch of the western groove.

Kanika Kapoor comments, “I share a close relationship with T-Series, who approached me with this concept. There is so much music being made nowadays, and they have picked a few popular songs and refreshed them by giving them a new voice. The collaboration of female and male artists singing together is very cool. It’s a very nice concept and is doing well. T-Series always does well and I am happy to be a part of this project.”

Guru Randhawa adds, “It's a great concept by T-Series and I'm glad they invited me for this episode. Big thanks to them for giving regional artist such a big national stage. During the shoot, it was such a lively environment with such talented artists and musicians around. I feel recreations are a big task, Abhijit Vaghani has done it very smoothly. I hope my fans love this version as much they have loved my original version.”
