MUMBAI: UK grime producer Mumdance has built a reputation as one of the World’s most inventive DJs and producers, drawing from ideas from across the world but always putting his own unique spin on them. Having played at Magnetic Fields in 2015, Mumdance returns to India this September to play a three-city tour as part of his Asia tour.

Mumdance will travel to Mumbai on 21 September, Delhi on 22 September and to Bangalore on 23 September as part of Wild City’s Various Artists, a series that introduces modern music’s most imaginative and original DJs and producers to Indian audiences.

As a producer and record label owner, Mumdance continuously taps the vibrant zone of contact between techno, grime and experimental music. His diversity puts him in a truly unique position: he’s just as much at ease working with local musicians in Mexico and Egypt as he is collaborating with artists like Pinch and Skepta. He might host one of the most popular shows on Rinse FM – and a new weekly residency – but is also at ease lecturing and hosting workshops across Europe, Australia, Japan, India and Russia.
