MUMBAI: 2017 is an eventful year for composer and guitarist Ehsaan Noorani of the Shankar -Ehsaan-Loy trio. He has been juggling between multiple movie projects and upcoming English music reality show The Stage S3.

Sharing the details of his upcoming movie projects Noorani said, “The projects that I am currently working on include, Mere Pyare Prime Minister, Flicker Singh, Manikarika and Sahoo.”

Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra’s Mere Pyare Prime Minister is a story of four kids who live in a Mumbai slum. The kids share a strong bond of friendship. The fascinating thing about the film is that the title contains the term 'Prime Minister' but the story revolves around four kids.

Shaad Ali’s Flicker Singh is a biopic of former hockey captain Sandeep Singh. The movie is produced by Chitrangada Singh. Shaad Ali, who has done movies like Saathiya, Bunty and Babli and OK Jaanu, will be directing this film.

Next, Manikarika -The Queen of Jhansi is an upcoming epic biographic film about the life of Rani Laxmibai. The movie is produced by Zee Studio and directed by Krish. Actress Kangana Ranaut plays the title role.

Sahoo is an upcoming multilingual Indian action film. The movie is written and directed by Sujeeth and produced by UV Creations. It stars Bahubali actor Prabhas and Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor in lead roles.
