MUMBAI: Actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana who is known for some of his awesome performances in movies like Vicky Donor had a really bad time on the sets of Star Plus’s new show Lip Sing Battle.

The Paani Da singer was on the show to have a performance battle with the Mast Mast girl Raveena Tandon when things went out of hand. The two had to perform on a song, where Khurrana chose to perform on Raja Babu Govinda’s song Meri Pant Bhi Sexy, Meri Shirt Bhi Sexy from the movie Dulaara. For this performance, he had dressed up as a Pani Puri wala, and was about to do the rehersal for the same when the unthinkable happened. The water from the Pani Puri splashed and few drops of it entered the Shubh Mangal Savdhan actor’s eyes.

According to a source, Ayushmann was clueless about the pani puri content being non-diluted and it got the actor calling for help. The crew just ran to him and also tried splashed water into his eyes, but it didn’t work well. So, the doctor was called immediately. The shoot had to be stalled for an hour and then things got moving.

Hero No 1 Govinda who was the surprise element of the song and who was also present on the set during the incident went to meet Ayushmnan along with host Farah Khan.

After this incident, everyone almost lost hope of him performing, but to everyone’s relief Khurrana sprung back and yelled: “Let’s do this!”
