MUMBAI: The Navratri queens Preeti and Pinky will be making a guest appearance on recently launched channel Star Bharat's devotional singing show Om Shanti Om.

Talking about her appearance on the show Preeti says, “This show is helping the new generation learn about our ancient music. It is a unique concept which has not been explored on Indian Television before. The show's concept attracted us as we also sing all the folk songs with a new rhythm to bring out the newness in every song.  We are lucky to be on Om Shanti Om.”

It was surprising to learn about this low profile singer duo appearing on the show. They were last seen on Sab TV's popular comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

The elated Pinky shares, “It’s a very new form of rearranging traditional music in a trendy way to appeal to the modern India. The show is preserving the tradition of India in a new form which captivated my attention. I am extremely happy to be part of it.”

The duo performed on some of the famous Navratri numbers and got the judges to dance to their tunes.

Om Shanti Om is a music reality show judged by Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha, Baby Doll Kanika Kapoor, composer Shekhar Ravjiani along with the Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev who is the Maha Guru.
