MUMBAI: For the third straight year in a row, Sony Music artists and its distributed labels earn the most award nominations at the Latin American Music Awards 2017 (Latin AMAs) with a total of 52 nods.

The Latin American Music Awards will air on Telemundo October 26 EST at the world famous Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA.

Shakira received the most nominations with nine followed by Maluma with eight. All Sony Music nominees include CNCO, Enrique Iglesias, Farruko, Gente De Zona, Gerardo Ortiz, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Nicky Jam, Ozuna, Prince Royce, Reik, Ricky Martin, Romeo Santos, Wisin and more.

The Latin American Music Awards recognizes the enthusiasm and passion of fans worldwide. Audience engagement sales, airplay, streaming, and social activity inform the categories as Billboard follows these metrics for the nominee selection. However, the winners come down to the fans who cast votes online. Voting starts today on the official site (U.S. and Puerto Rico).
