MUMBAI: Jab Koi Baat Bigad Gaye from the film Jurm has been a favourite for many of us. Thus, many artistes have sung cover versions and tried adding their musical element to this track. But, the original still continues to be the audience favourite. This time around music producer-singer-lyricist Tony Kakkar has come up with a new rendition of the same song and it will surely make you fall for it.

Beautifully sung by Tony, the song is re-arranged on guitar and keyboards. This is a short two-minute song that begins with a stanza from the original song and continues with original lyrics written by Tony.

It was three months ago when Tony created the song but did not upload it. But, today when he came across the song again, he couldn’t hold it back and uploaded it on his YouTube channel.

“I believe any song should have some original content as that is when an artiste can actually express his feelings. Keeping this in mind I decided to add lyrics from my side, this is just my way of adding something to the song,” said Tony.

The singer-songwriter is expressive when it comes to writing lyrics. The new cover song has Tony’s feelings attached to it. “While writing these lyrics, I kept my ex and my family in my mind. Ex because many times I think about her which helps me express myself in a better way and family because why not, it talks about a promise,” added Tony.
