MUMBAI: Hundreds of International acts have forayed into the Indian music landscape in the past years. Some we have been dying to watch since "milleniums" and some were happy discoveries. But there are very few who dedicatedly have been focusing on sounds that have potential to be "The one" in the coming years. New Wave Asia (NWA) for the last three years has been bringing together emerging Asian 'indie' acts. Now its fourth edition hits the home ground after travelling from Goa, Bengaluru and Delhi.
The festival organised by ennui.BOMB will see seven international and 17 Indian artistes that will be performing at five venues this year. There will be three main event venues and two pre-party venues.
Having brought down names that were never before heard in the country namely Japan's legendary band Shonen Knife, Kyoto Protocol and more, this edition will feature sounds that the audience most likely haven't heard yet.
