MUMBAI: Shirley Setia released her latest single Tu Mil Gaya on Hungama Spotlight - Rising Star. The YouTube sensation put this piece together in six months with help of Haroon-Gavin, the music composers of the song.

“The ideation and creation part of the song had started a long time back. Initially, the song just started with a hook and then slowly everything else was put into place. Even for the video you have to keep in mind what the storyline is, also originals do take a lot of time and the making of Tu Mil Gaya did take time,” says Shirley.

Elaborating on the track further the singer states, “So this song speaks about meeting new people. I can totally connect to this track. I feel we should do things spontaneously, meet new people, give new relationships a chance in your life and give things a go. Comprising all this Tu Mil Gaya gives a different vibe.”

Interestingly, Shirley wasn’t the brainchild behind the song. It was Gavin, the music composer of the song, who also happens to be a part of the singer’s band. “Gavin was working on the hook lines of Tu Mil Gaya and then I heard it with my manager. We all really liked it and thought of creating something fun on,” explains the singer.
