MUMBAI: National award-winning singer Monali Thakur who is known for her magical voice in Bollywood is all set to appear on MTV Unplugged Season 7.

"My episode is going to be a very real one and very much live where I will jam with my musicians and every song of the episode is truthfully done. It is going to be a mixture of my songs along with some other legendary songs."

Monali will be singing some of her best songs in the coming episode. Sawar Loon from Lootera, Moh Moh Ke Dhaage from Dum Lagake Haisha, the title track of Anjaana Anjani, Khwab Dekhe from the movie Race, Sun Sugna Re from Lakshmi, Khol Do Bahein from Meri Pyari Bindu and some other legendary songs like Salon Sa Sajan, Lambi Judai.

"I had a very nice experience on the show and MTV Unplugged has always been a musical paradise. It is one of those few shows where there is no creative interference at all, it also provides you with the ambiance required," says Monali on her first time experience with the show.

When it comes to television, ?hakur has a long association with the idiot box which goes long back to her Indian Idol days, where she was a contestant in the second season of it. She has also done Rising Star India on Colors TV where the Sawar Loon singer was seen judging the show along with composer-singer Shankar Mahadevan and actor Diljit Dosanjh. She will also be mentoring the second season of the Colors show which is going to air from this month.

As this is a Monali Thakur episode, it is surely going to be a worth watch thing. This episode will be telecasted on Saturday, 13 January 2018, at 8 pm on MTV.
