India is making its mark in indie music: Lost Stories

MUMBAI: Lost Stories, has made its mark in the indie music space and earned huge fan following over the years. Recently they gave a bang on performance at Vh1 Supersonic 2018. Well carrying their memories from their performance Lost Stories expressed their thoughts.

“Last when we dropped a bunch of new music with a lot of Hindi vocals, people did not expect that. While this 2018, we did drop music from our upcoming EP.  This EP would comprise a bunch of four to five tracks in collaboration with Avneet Khurmi who had recorded Laung Gawacha with Nucleya. For this EP we wanted to take some inspiration from old-school music; vintage but not in the way Medieval Pundits have done it and not in the way other people have also done it. But it’s more like in a very troy-boy kind of space but with Indian vocals and melodies.

The duo has achieved great heights in the Independent music scene and they share their thoughts on the same, “I think right now we are in a good space where music, art and literature have come together for music. So, like there is also Saavn who is supporting indie talent. You see their artworks, artists making music in their own space, it is not commercial music, it’s indie music. Finally, India is making its mark in indie music.”

Lastly Lost Stories share a tiny message with their fans, “Keep supporting us and do keep buying our music. Also, new music is coming up so make sure you do check it out and keep supporting local talent.”
