Big FM to go 24/7 in Jamshedpur

MUMBAI: Big FM will commence airing for 24 hours in Jamshedpur from 14 May. The station, which was on a trial run till now, was being aired for 17 hours daily. Big Music releases single to cash in on IPL fervour

MUMBAI: Keeping the IPL cricket fever alive, Big Music has recorded a track titled "Kricket Se Aap ko Kya Mila"? The song is a light hearted take on the mass hysteria triggered by cricket and the manner in which it continues to be a major money-spinner and news maker. The Bollywood version of the track uses the sound-alike voices of popular actors from Bollywood and cricket like Nana Patekar, Irrfan Khan and Navjyot Singh Sidhu, to name a few. The song, composed by Abhishek Arora and sung by Sunil Grover, takes the IPL hysteria a step forward.

Mccartney to give away album with newspaper

NEW DELHI: Former member of the Beatles group Sir Paul McCartney will give away his latest album with editions of the Mail on Sunday. The Beatle alum's album, "Memory Almost Full," will be free with the May 18th edition of the newspaper. The album was released on Starbucks' Hear Music label last year.Last year, the Mail on Sunday gave away Prince's "Planet Earth" album for free, and more recently UB40 gave a 10 track sampler away as one of the paper's supplements, according to a report by Gigwise.com quoted by the World Association of Newspapers.
