MUMBAI: Lokesh Kumar aka Star Boy LOC has given hits like Chandigarh Police, Dilli Se Hai,  Peg Pe Peg and much more. The talented artiste has released his new track Insta and has featured in it too.

Insta is a typical Punjabi song, Star Boy LOC adds to this, “This song is about Instagram and as it’s Punjabi it has well suited the Punjab crowd. There is an ‘Instagram’ craze in Punjab.”

While the track has been sung and penned by S Mukhtiar, the rap has been rendered by Star Boy LOC, “They had me plotted for this rap. The rap speaks ‘about more of families on WhatsApp and on Facebook, while many of them are not accessible on Instagram’."

As the song is based on a social media app Star Boy LOC speaks upon the use of social media usage these days, he says, “There has been an extensive use of social media and is still on a rise. Nobody reads newspapers these days and almost everybody access their social media platforms to find out things.”

Star Boy LOC has his future plans in place, “I am releasing a new song within a week. I also have my a track in the movie Yamla Pagla Deewana 3. I am also, focusing on my singles and shooting for two tracks as of now.”
