MUMBAI: The latest song from Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer, Raazi that dropped online yesterday, is ruling hearts. Portraying the unspoken eternal bond between a daughter and her father, the song is trending on YouTube at number seven.

The song is a soulful number that showcases the Vidaai of Alia’s character, Sehmat, who marries a Pakistani officer played by Vicky Kaushal. The emotions, a father goes through, while seeing off his daughter on her wedding day is beautifully portrayed in the song by Rajit Kapoor. Also, Alia has pulled off the right emotion, as a daughter, who doesn’t want to let go off her father’s hand but has to bid adieu owing to her marriage.

Sung by Harshdeep Kaur, Vibha Saraf and Shankar Mahadevan, the lyrics of this heart touching song are penned by Gulzar. The music is composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Raazi is a spy-romantic flick slated to release on 11 May 2018. The movie is based on the best-selling book, Calling Sehmat by Harinder Sikka.
