MUMBAI: It is a feeling of pride and honour to be praised by a legend. Akasa Singh, who is all set to release her new single Thug Ranjha by this week, is on cloud nine for being appreciated for her song by pop sensational singer Mika Singh.

The 440 Volt singer himself says that he is the biggest Thug Ranjha. Songstress Akasa got a massive thumbs up from her mentor Mika Singh.

"It is an insanely energetic track that will connect with the youth. Also, the song is so Akasa, she really has no time for Thug Ranjhas,” said Mika.

Akasa began her musical journey with Mika, as a part of his live set at the age of 17. She has always been grateful to Mika for teaching her the nuances of singing.

“I am so happy that Mika the king of indie pop loves my song. I am just waiting to present it to my fans now,” added the Kheech Meri Photo singer.

Thug Ranjha, has been written and composed by Vaayu and co-composed by Akasa. The song releases in second week of May across all audio platforms and exclusively on Sony Music India’s YouTube page.
