MUMBAI: Twin sisters and singers Sukriti and Prakriti Kakkar have sung the anthem song of the soon-to-be-held Gaana Music Festival in California, USA.

Sukriti spilled beans on the same, saying, “I and Prakriti have sung the official anthem of the Gaana Music Festival. We will also be singing on the finale day along with other contestants.”

Sukriti and Prakriti will also be joined by their elder sister Akriti Kakkar on the day of their performance. “We will be performing on 20 May in San Francisco. I and Prakriti usually perform together but Akriti will be performing with us after a long time. We have a special act in store for the audience, which will be a fusion of each of our individual styles,” said excited Sukriti on the sisters’ upcoming performance on the occasion.

On Gaana Music Festival, Sukriti said, “Gaana has done a very job by organizing the Gaana Music Festival, which is a first of its kind concert. I’m really excited and looking forward to it.”

Lastly, on being asked with which other singers she wants to perform besides her sister, Sukriti was quick to mention Arijit as she said, “I’m a huge fan of Arijit Singh and I’m looking forward to his performance as an audience. I don’t have a performance in store with him, but all the artists will be performing together on the Gaana anthem on the finale day.”

Meanwhile, the other singers, who will be performing at the biggest Indian music gala in the US are Ayushmann Khurrana, Mika Singh, Armaan Malik and Amaal Mallik, Kanika Kapoor, Gippy Grewal, Benny Daya, Usha Uthup and others.
