On his song, once again, getting a place in a Bollywood film, Guru Randhawa said, “Varun Paji has been very fond of my original song and he suggested the same to the makers. I was all charged when I heard that we are recreating the song with Varun Paji. I have always been waiting for that. “
“We have tried to maintain the vibe of the song with a few improvisations in lyrics. I'm thankful to Bhushan Ji, Varun, Shraddha for such an amazing experience. I hope this version of High Rated Gabru receives as much love from the audience as the original track did with Shraddha and Varun's power-packed dance moves,” the Made In India singer further said.
The singer signed off, saying, “This is my fourth song being picked for a Bollywood film after my songs used in the films, Hindi Medium and Tumhari Sulu. It's an exciting period for me as I am getting to work with a lot of new people.”
Produced by Remo D’Souza under his production house, Remo D'Souza Entertainment, the film is directed by Jayesh Pradhan. It has a cameo by both Varun and Shraddha and will be releasing on 27 July 2018. The video is presented by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
