MUMBAI: The upcoming episode of Dil Hai Hindustani 2 witnessed some captivating moments as singer Shaan and evergreen beauty Rekha graced the podium. And, the Rakhi celebration on the show, was a compassionate moment to look out for!

Well, if reports are to be believed, Rekha was seen celebrating Raksha Bandhan with Akshay Dhavan, a contestant hailing from Punjab. It was indeed compassionate of her to address him as her younger brother now onwards. After tying the Rakhi, Rekha, even, made an instant rap for him.

Punjabi boy, Akshay, has already amused everyone with his self-made rap on the show. He has always been in top contestants. Rekha even admired his lyrics and felt he has the magic to connect with people through the rap.

Sources from the set revealed, “Rekhaji was so impressed with Akshay’s performance that she complimented him with a Shayari. She has seen all episodes of Dil Hai Hindustani 2 and is a fan of Akshay. His story was very heart touching for her. She even complimented him and addressed him as the next Gulzar by going on the stage. As a gift for Raksha Bandhan, Rekhaji promised to take care of him always.”
