Thomson Andrews croons additional vocals for a song from 'Student of the Year 2'

MUMBAI: Playback singer and independent artist, Thomson Andrews, who has also worked on Bollywood projects, has crooned additional vocals for a song from Karan Johar’s upcoming Bollywood movie, Student of the Year 2.

Spilling beans on the same, Andrews said, “I have sung some additional vocals for Vishal-Shekhar for a song from Student of the Year 2.”

The musician, who is also a lyricist writer, proficient in English songs, has some independent projects in the store. On this, he shared, “There are a couple of singles, I am coming out with this year. I also have plans to launch a lot of Hindi original songs because as a songwriter, I have done more of English songs as of now. But, I can sing in 12 different languages.”

Thomas, who has sung for a lot of Walt Disney movies, Tamil and Telugu film songs, loves to experiment. “I will be starting with Hindi and then release singles in Tamil, Marathi and other languages. I have sung more than 60 ad jingles in my career. So, I love experimenting,” he added.

Besides, Thomas has also crooned several tracks for a couple of composers. Revealing about the same, he said, “I have sung a couple of tracks for different directors because they want to experiment with my voice after having heard me singing some crazy genres. I hope some of the songs get approved by the production houses.”

Meanwhile, Thomson Andrews will be going on a USA music tour with popular singer Sunidhi Chauhan.
